Indiana State Department of Agriculture (ISDA)
Grants to Indiana nonprofit organizations and government agencies for conservation projects that address water quality within the state. Eligible proposals must address a current natural resource priority in the applicant’s district. The applicant must demonstrate how addressing this resource concern pertains to the organization’s business plan and the State Soil Conservation Board (SSCB) business plan.
The Clean Water Indiana (CWI) Grant Program (IC 14-32-8-5) utilizes the Clean Water Indiana Fund to Support Indiana conservation groups (nonprofits or units or subdivisions of government), in cooperation with local Soil and Water Conservation Districts, in efforts to address the priority concerns of the State Soil Conservation Board (SSCB) business plan.
Proposal Logistics: The grant proposal must document how the grant funds will address at least two of the State priority resource concerns referenced in the State Soil Conservation Board’s (SSCB’s) Business Plan adopted in 2016. The plan can be found at http://in.gov/isda/files/SSCB_Business_Plan_2016_approved.pdf.
Proposals that outline how CWI funds will leverage additional funding from other sources as well as engage other partners are strongly encouraged.
