Grants to USA and territories nonprofit and tribal organizations, educational institutions, and government entities for programs and projects to support and promote sanctuaries for marine habitats in eligible locations. Eligible organizations are those seeking to advocate and advance the sites currently in the national marine sanctuary designation process and initial establishment of new sites, but do not have the resources to do so.

Research Fellowship to a USA graduate or doctoral student to study Mississippi's religious history. The student will have access to the state archives for their research. Included in the fellowship package is a stipend to cover housing, travel, and other expenses; the individual is expected to stay at least two weeks in Jackson, Mississippi. This program seeks to nurture graduate and doctoral students to increase their life-long interest in history and to promote continued academic and public appreciation of the study of religious history in Mississippi.

Applicants are advised that the required registrations must be completed prior to applying. Funding is intended to contribute to maximizing the health and function outcomes of people with SMHCs.

Eligible uses of funding include planning, capital improvements, and indirect costs. Grantees will also receive technical assistance in promotion and conservation management. The goal of the program is to empower and equip preservationists and stewards with funding and technical support to preserve the material heritage, innovation, and legacy of modern architectural sites designed by Black architects.

The purpose of the program is to fund and support groups of investigators working to develop and meet national conservation goals of the United States. Research groups will meet in Santa Barbara, California and will conduct studies exploring climate change, fisheries, and ecological impact of management actions. In addition to funding to support travel, lodging, and per diem expenses, participating teams will benefit from facilities, training expertise, and cyberinfrastructure and logistical support.

Cooperative agreements to USA nonprofit and for-profit organizations, IHEs, and agencies for education research. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete. Funding is intended for the creation of national research centers focused on different areas related to education. For this year, applications should address either improving gifted education or using generative artificial intelligence to improve instruction in postsecondary education.

Opportunity for USA agricultural producers in 30 states of the Upper Midwest, Lower Midwest, MidAtlantic/Central Appalachia, Northeast, Southeast, and Hawaii regions to participate in an incentive program to incorporate agroforestry practices. Grants of up to $5,000 to Indiana nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and schools for programs and activities that benefit residents in eligible locations. Funding is intended for projects in the focus areas of health, education, community development, human services, and cultural affairs. Eligible applicants serve the residents of Ohio County.

Grants of $20,000 and in-kind support to USA nonprofit organizations for capacity building. In addition to a monetary grant, awardees will also receive consultations, access to services and platforms, and publicity. Applicant organizations should advance a mission and programs dedicated to human rights, girls' and women’s empowerment, or LGBTQ+ causes.

Cooperative Agreement for a USA or Canada state and local government, IHE, nonprofit organization, or tribe in eligible areas to create a water quality monitoring system. The special focus of the monitoring will be toxic pollutants. Awardees will be expected to analyze the concentrations of contaminants in order to advance the understanding of contaminant cycling throughout food webs in the Great Lakes, and screen for emerging chemicals in fish tissue to identify priority chemicals warranting future study. Project must take place in states bordering the Great Lakes.

Cooperative Agreement for a USA or Canada agency, IHE, Tribe, or nonprofit organization to monitor and report on coastal wetlands in eligible areas. This project is part of a surveillance network to monitor water quality, and applicants must be capable of carrying out field sampling of coastal wetlands. This program is intended for the areas surrounding the Great Lakes, including the following: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Ontario (Canada), Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

Grants to Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio nonprofit organizations in eligible counties for arts and cultural initiatives. Funding is intended to support activities and programs addressing tourism, neighborhood vitality, and visitation. The goal of the funding is to leverage the arts to drive economic vitality, social vibrancy, and a connected community for all. Applicants must be based in the Cincinnati-Middletown, OH-KY-IN MSA, which includes the following counties: Brown, Butler, Clermont, Hamilton, and Warren Counties in Ohio; Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, and Pendleton Counties in Kentucky; and Dearborn, Franklin, and Ohio Counties in Indiana.

Award of $500 to a USA or Canada high school astronomy teacher or educator to recognize exceptional contributions to astronomy education. Candidates for this award demonstrate outstanding teaching and commitment to planetarium- or classroom-based education, including the training of other educators.

Grants of up to $1,000 to USA educational institutions and nonprofit organizations for foreign language educational materials. Applicants must contact the funding source prior to submitting an application. Grant funds may be used for the purchase of teaching materials and cultural items for Japanese-language courses.

Grant of $500 to a USA, Canada, or International teacher, counselor, or educator who instructs high school students to cover the costs associated with attending an educational conference. Applicants must register as an educator prior to applying. Funding may be used to support registration, accommodations, and travel expenses.

Grants of $2,500 to USA, Canada, and International high school teachers and counselors for financial assistance in attending professional development courses. Applicants are required to complete registrations prior to applying. Funding is intended to assist with tuition expenses and related costs associated with university courses taking place in Fall 2024, Spring 2025, or Summer 2025.

Grants of $500 to USA and territories community organizations, libraries, and museums serving families and children for storytelling programs. Funding is intended for programs that explore and celebrate Asian/Pacific American and American Indian and Alaska Native communities through oral traditions, books, and art to provide an enriching, interactive experience.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International organizations, filmmakers, and production companies for the creation of Holocaust-related films. Films should have an educational value and broad distribution potential. Funding may be requested for only one of the following three project phases: a) Development, b) Production, or c) Post-Production.

Grants of up to $15,000 to USA, Canada, and International institutions and individuals for research and conservation projects related to wild cat species. Priority will be given to projects with a strong emphasis on conservation. Eligible proposals are those related to small cats species, namely all species of the family Felidae excluding the genera Panthera, Acinonyx, and the puma (Puma concolor).

Grants of $25,000 to USA MD and PhD investigators at accredited academic institutions or nonprofit medical research institutions for short-term, small research projects related to women's medical issues. Funding is intended to support studies that demonstrate promise for enhancing medical care in leading women’s health concerns, including cardiovascular disease, female cancers, the role of hormones in disease and stage-of-life health issues, and diseases and health concerns disproportionately affecting women.

Fellowships of $5,000 to USA qualifying early-stage scientists and physicians to conduct research related to women's health. Eligible research topics include, but are not limited to, female cancers, cardiovascular disease, and stage-of-life health concerns. Requests will be accepted from applicants who are currently pursuing an MD or PhD or are engaged in fellowship, postdoctoral, or similar specialty training at a US-based institution.

Funding is intended to support nonprofits focusing on career development, capacity building, increase in access, and other activities that increase the representation of women in STEM education, especially in the technology sector. F5 is committed to helping build the pipeline of tomorrow’s female changemakers and future leaders through science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) Education Grants.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International undergraduate and graduate science and engineering students to promote scientific achievements and excellence in research. Funding is intended to support hands-on learning and to encourage students and mentors to forge close working relationships.

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations, agencies, and public schools in multiple states for education and health programs to benefit disadvantaged populations. Funding is intended for programs that enhance STEM educational opportunities for K-12 students and programs that improve the health of local residents.

Grants of up to $10,000 to Indiana nonprofit organizations to benefit diverse communities and reduce racial discrimination and disparities. Proposals are accepted in the focus areas of safe communities, health and wellness, and workforce development. Funding is intended for organizations that mainly serve people of color.

Grants to Indiana organizations for sports-related programming that benefits local youth in eligible areas. Funding is intended for projects and programs that promote amateur athletics for young people. The Foundation's mission is to recognize and enhance the role of athletics in the lives of young people in central Indiana.

Grants to USA newspapers and newspaper associations for initiatives that promote the advancement of the newspaper industry. Funding is intended for programs that support the creation of sustainable business models, educational activities for the advancement of leaders in the newspaper industry, and technology that supports the advancement of the news ecosystem.

Grants of $500 to USA, Canada, and International qualifying high school educators to provide enhanced opportunities for student organizations. Funding is intended to assist club sponsors and advisors of public and private high schools in supporting the student clubs they oversee. Requests will be accepted from club sponsors and advisors who are registered as educators with the funding source organization.

Opportunity for USA, Canada, and International startups to participate in an accelerator program to advance their company. Participants will have access to weekly consultations, an investor boot camp, a virtual demo day, networking opportunities, and the use of the funding source's startup program. The purpose of the program is to help entrepreneurs find the funding, tools, and community to scale their startups.

Fellowships to USA, Canada, and Greece graduate students to conduct research and fieldwork at an institution in Greece. The purpose of the program is to support the work of overseas students conducting studies in ancient Greek law or Greek students conducting work on local excavations. Fellowships will take place at the American School for Classical Studies at Athens or at excavations affiliated with the institution.

In-kind grants of career exploration software to USA schools, IHEs, community groups, agencies, and other educational organizations serving PreK-12 students. Participants will receive software subscriptions and related equipment that exposes students to job shadowing and field trip content.

Scholarships of $5,000 and scholarships of $10,000 to USA individuals living with epilepsy and family members or caregivers of individuals with epilepsy to pursue higher education. Funding is paid directly to the educational institution and may be used for books, tuition, and other school fees.

Fellowships to USA mathematicians from minority populations to support individual and collaborative research. Funding is intended for travel expenses, supplies, memberships, books, and any other expenses that will advance the research projects. Applicants must be mid-career mathematicians.

Grants of up to $1,000 to USA nonprofit organizations to fund small community projects. Applicants located outside of the USA must be able to receive the funds through a US-based nonprofit. Funding is intended for special projects that will uplift the local community.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International individuals for political research at the funding source's facility in Michigan. Funding is intended to offset the cost of travel within North America and living expenses while conducting research. Eligible research addresses topics related to US foreign policy, national and domestic politics, and federal policies.

Fellowships with a $5,000 stipend to USA, Canada, or international PhD or graduate students for research on aspects of Greek history. Funding is intended for the study of the Athenian Agora, and the stipend is structured to cover lodging, visas, board, travel, and other incidental costs. Fields of study may include but are not limited to, all aspects of the history and material culture of the site.

Grants of up to $2,000 to USA high-school student groups for environmental projects. Funding is intended to support students as they plan, design, and implement a sustainability project involving the community. Students must learn specific material prior to developing their projects. Teachers who guide student groups are also eligible to receive a $1,000 stipend. The goal of the program is to empower students with essential environmental knowledge, practical skills, and a sense of community responsibility, fostering a lifelong commitment to sustainability.

Fellowships of $7,000 to USA, Canada, and International doctoral students for research related to political economy. Fellows will participate in colloquia related to developing techniques and strategies to explore themes and questions related to political economy. Eligible expenses include travel, accommodation, and meals.
