Southern Hancock Education Foundation
Our mission is to promote and support quality public education in Brandywine and Sugar Creek Townships. The Foundation has identified three key areas of support. (1) To support teacher innovation in their classrooms through a Teacher Mini-Grant program. Each fall teachers have the opportunity to apply for funds that will impact student learning in their classroom. These grants typically run between $200-$500. (2) To fund professional development in each of the Southern Hancock Schools. Each year, schools are granted funds to support school leaders to implement high quality professional development. (3) At one time, there was a need to assist eligible students with the fees for advanced placement and dual credit courses. This area presently is not an area of need; therefore, the Foundation has sought other areas to support the Southern Hancock Schools.
